Few things can enhance or even overshadow one of the game’s best pitchers throwing a no hitter.  This came close, though.  Carlos Guillen hits a homer off Jered Weaver in the seventh inning and poses at the plate.  Both sides are warned, but Weaver throws at Alex Avila’s head on the first next pitch.  Weaver’s ejected and doesn’t go quietly.  All of this happening when Justin Verlander was trying to go for his second no-hitter of the season.
